Description: There’s No Place Like Home | Coach Dave Live | 12-12-19
“There’s no place like home!” Said Coach. He returned from Montana yesterday. Montana has one congressman because there are only one million people in the state. People are fleeing to that part of America because there isn’t as much government as in other parts of the nation.
Cognitive dissonance occurs when a person holds two or more contradictory beliefs, ideas or values. “This goes deeper than just the world.” Said Coach. “It is in Christianity also.” Christians are absolutely convinced that something is in the Bible that isn’t there. Nowhere in the Bible is there a verse that says “Hate the sin, love the sinner.” It actually comes from Gandhi.
Coach read his Weekly Word column that is linked below, “Lord, teach our hands to war.” King David fell when he stayed home. Christians must pray … and act. Coach played the facebook video below that depicts a father standing up against drag queen story hour. The man in the video demonstrates that he is working to develop the techniques of spiritual warfare. Every Christian should be doing the same.
“My inbox fills up with emails from brainwashed Christians who won’t confront sin.” Said Coach. “They tell me I need to love, love … love. God isn’t Mr. Rodgers!”
We have a shallow view of the Lord and what it means to be in this army of the Lord. We must war against the evil forces that work to devour innocence and goodness.
God changes not. We have changed Yahweh into this mealy-mouthed softy.
“Some people love me … some people hate me.” Said Coach. “When I go to the abortion clinic I’m at war against the people who are killing babies. Until they bow their knee to Jesus Christ they make themselves my enemy. There’s something wrong with just praying there while babies are being murdered.”
Christians have been trained to do nothing … but pray. “It doesn’t take any courage to pray.” Coach commented.
Robert Klous shared from his devotional, “Finders, Keepers: Finders of Truth Keepers of Faith.”
